Every human being is created in his image and should be treated with dignity, respect and love. Your ability to communicate with God is a reflection of the fact that you are made in his image.

Romans 6
Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ 6 What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2 By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were […]

Are You Stewarding Your Gifts Well?

When you think of a gift, what comes to mind? Is it material things like shelter, food, and clothing? Maybe more emotional things like family, health, and salvation? Been away
I had taken a break from #WordPress because there was a time that I didn’t understand it.
We at times take a break from life or from what’s happening in our lives just to get through, it’s our body helping us to deal with life situations.
We also take a break from God or walk away, those in the church call this back sliding, but really it’s a time that we can’t process something we have seen or heard from man, very rearly is it from something that God has said direct to us that makes us walk away. A classic example of this is Jonah, where Jonah ran away from God. Usually a sermon or a member says something that we disagree with and instead of testing it with God’s word, we just leave Him altogether.
God wants us to know that although we stray, He is always with us.
Psalm 23 is a good piece of scripture for this,
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. – Psalm 23:1-6 http://www.biblegateway.com/
